It is with great sadness that we share the news that Deirdre passed away on the 1st of July 2025.
Her love of Tarot and her wish to make it more accessible for everyone lives on through her book and her specially designed deck of cards, Deirdre of the Sorrows. From now on, her granddaughter Audrey will continue the sale of the book and cards, ensuring that Deirdre’s work and passion remain available to those who seek guidance and inspiration.
Deirdre wrote:
“I’ve been studying Tarot for many years and often heard that the cards are too difficult to learn. To help, I wrote a beginners guide and created a new deck, Deirdre of the Sorrows.The cards are clear and simple for novices, yet still contain the depth that experienced readers will recognise.”
